The Akash Restaurant was highly commended as one of the best Indian restaurant in the South Coast at the Asian Curry Awards in London. 

The evening proved to be extra special for The Akash as one of its original founders, George Ahmed, was recognized for his contribution to the industry with the Knights of the Raj Legend Award.
